Memphis Mayor A C Wharton to Honor Rick Ross With Key to The City

During Wingstop Union Avenue Grand Opening Celebration

August 15, 2014 // Franchising.com // DALLAS - After announcing his 25-location Wingstop franchise expansion this week, rapper/entrepreneur Rick Ross is gearing up to celebrate his two recently opened restaurants in Memphis. With five Wingstop locationsin the area, the Union Avenue location (which opened in June) and Bartlett Boulevard (which opened in May) are welcomed additions.

Today, during the Union Avenue (1619 Union Ave., Memphis,901-726-5839) grand opening, Memphis Mayor A C Wharton will bestow Ross with a symbolic key to the city, honoring the economic and community contributions the Wingstop locations have provided for the city.The Bartlett Boulevard (2839 Bartlett Blvd., Memphis,901-213-0130) grand opening event will be Thursday, Aug. 14 at 2:30 p.m., where, along with promotional giveaways, guests will also have the chance to receive an autograph and take photos with the Wingstop multi-unit franchisee.
