Johnny Rockets Brings Food and Fun to New Extension at Stetson University

Operated by Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services, an organization that provides campus dining services to more than 260 colleges and universities across the United States, Johnny Rockets was selected as the university's latest foodservice offering based on the brand's commitment to using the freshest, highest quality ingredients and exceptional service. Open in the heart of campus, inside the Hat Rack, Johnny Rockets' new campus location serves as the hub for students, faculty and staff seeking convenience, all-American fare and a unique dining experience.

"Expanding to Stetson University is a natural fit for the brand as the university, similar to Johnny Rockets, emphasizes excellence and creativity," says James Walker, chief development officer of Johnny Rockets. "Historically, our brand has been well received by college students, with 175 Johnny Rockets locations within five miles of a college campus. In selecting dining options for the 2014-2015 school year, Chartwells surveyed more than 500 individuals, resulting in Johnny Rockets selection as the premier dining destination for students at Stetson University. With 15 employees on staff, the unique, 225 sq. foot restaurant will offer Johnny Rockets' modern Americana menu, featuring made-to-order hamburgers, American fries, hand-spun shakes and sandwiches. To complete the classic Johnny Rockets experience, guests will be greeted with upbeat music and friendly servers.
