David Adjey and The Chickery introduce the world to the Better Chicken Segment as Expansion Begins

Menu upgrades broaden appeal, has customers asking "What' s a chicken feather?", offer lower price options at every category

September 23, 2014 // Franchising.com // Toronto, Canada - The Chickery, which was founded in 2012 and offers recipes straight from local Toronto celebrity chef David Adjey's own kitchen, recently updated their menu. The menu has been refined to offer the same real authentic taste loyal customers have been accustomed to, at lower prices in every category. Most menu items are still made from scratch every day, including the brand new Chicken Feathers and the Ultimate Buttermilk Chicken Tenders were named one of the Best Chicken Fingers In Toronto!

Chicken Feathers are among the chef-crafted recipes that you can only get at The Chickery. Each feather is spiked with parmesan cheese, dusted with spices, and pairs deliciously with any of The Chickery's homemade sauces like ginger jalapeno plum, smokey ancho barbecue, or the signature Chickery Sauce. A recent Yelp review reads, "The deep fried coating on the chicken is light and firm while the chicken is super moist and juicy."

Other upgraded menu items include two additional sandwiches, specially created by Chef Adjey: the Parmesan Spike Chicken Feathers sandwich (slathered in cucumber ranch and fresh dill) and the Spicy Chickery Poppers sandwich (with pickled jalapenos and Southern corn chow-chow).

The Chickery is a pioneer in the fast casual 'better chicken', using Real, Fresh, High Quality Ingredients... All Natural, Never Frozen, Farm-to-Table, Humanely Raised Chicken, with no added water or flavoring. We invite all customers, new and old, to experience Chicken Feathers and all the 'Real Tasty Chicken and Sides' we have to offer.
