Bend, Ore. - Dutch Bros. Celebrates New Store with a Community Give-Back

September 26, 2014 // Franchising.com // Dutch Bros. BendBEND, Ore. – Locally owned and operated by Bill and Carol Smith, Dutch Bros. Coffee of Central Oregon is relocating the 62077 27th St. stand to a new location at 2155 NE Hwy 20, Bend.

On October 1, from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. all 16 oz. drinks will cost $1, including specialty coffee, smoothies, Freezes and our private-label energy drink Dutch Bros. Blue RebelTM. Proceeds will benefit Mountain View High School and Bend Senior High.

After nearly ten years of proudly serving coffee from their 27th St. location, Bill and Carol Smith are pleased to announce they will be moving to an expanded location that will accommodate not only drive thru traffic, but will also have a walk-in area.

"It has been ten incredible years at the 27th Street location and this next step is bittersweet. The neighborhood has been so great to us," said Bill Smith, Dutch Bros. Central Oregon owner. "We are really excited about the new location, it will provide the same awesome Dutch Bros. drinks and service, but it’s larger and will allow us to grow."

The new location at 2155 NE Hwy 20 will be one of the few Dutch Bros. Coffee locations with a walk-in area; accommodating our drive-thru customers and providing an opportunity for those who want to walk-in.

"We are so excited for this new season and all that comes with it," continued Bill. "It’s going to be a fun experience having a coffee house. "

"It’s new and different, being able to allow customers the opportunity to come in and order, rather than only get the drive-thru experience," says Kaelyn Costa, Marketing Coordinator, Dutch Bros. Central Oregon. "We can’t wait to see all of our current customers and share the experience with them. We really look forward to getting to know some new people as well."

Dutch Bros. Central Oregon had been a part of the Bend community for ten years and has supported numerous local causes. "We are so excited to be donating the proceeds from the give back day to the area high schools. We always welcome another way to be apart of the schools," said Kaelyn. "Being able to support school while celebrating our new location feels incredible."
