Bach to Rock Music Franchise Introduces Cutting-Edge Communication Technology for Students, Parents and Teachers

Proprietary Digital System Offers Live Streaming of Songs, Near-Instant Access to Homework, Teachers' Notes and Curriculum

BETHESDA, MD - (Marketwired - Oct 29, 2014) - The Bach to Rock music franchise is taking its transformative approach to music education to the next level in 2015 with the introduction of a proprietary digital communication system that empowers students, parents and teachers.

The interactive tool supports Bach to Rock's face-to-face music education methods with the ease and efficiency of touch-screen tablet technology. It brings the Bach to Rock curriculum to life in a way a parent can quickly understand, almost instantly showing them what their child has mastered - whether it's knowledge of a quarter note, the treble clef or key signatures. The parent can also see what musical skills and concepts their child has yet to conquer.

And for the first time, Bach to Rock students have access to online resources for homework assignments and live streaming of song arrangements. This helps them focus their practice time at home and can lead to faster mastery of concepts.

"Digital tracking tools also help teachers better understand how their student learns and can help them personalize every lesson to give the student a well-balanced music education," says Aaron Schmidt, Bach to Rock's Director of Curriculum and Training.

"This new proprietary technology is right in sync with our commitment to reinvent music on a national scale," Schmidt adds. "We're continuing to take music education to the next level with our nontraditional curriculum and warm, student-centered school environment that makes learning music relevant and fun. Now we have the technology in place to further optimize what we offer."

The beta version of the digital system was introduced in four Bach to Rock schools in the Washington, D.C., region and will be rolled out at additional schools in 2015.

"From my standpoint as director of curriculum, this new system is also going to help a lot with quality control and with knowing what's going on in Bach to Rock classrooms," Schmidt says. "It means that just about everyone will be connected - students, parents, teachers and administrators."
