Howard Johnson Orange WednesdayAvailable exclusively on December 3, 2014-the first Wednesday after Thanksgiving and unofficially Orange Wednesday-travelers can save 50 percent off the rate of the day when they call to book an upcoming stay, up to three consecutive nights, at any of more than 40 participating Howard Johnson hotels throughout the U.S. and Canada.

"Everyone knows the holiday shopping season swings into full force after Thanksgiving ," said Mike Mueller, Howard Johnson brand senior vice president. "This year, instead of putting yourself through the shopping gauntlet, why not take that time to plan an upcoming getaway with family or friends? With Orange Wednesday, you don’t just get a great hotel but also an amazing deal."

To book the Orange Wednesday rate, travelers should first visit

www.hojo.com/orangewednesday, where they can view a complete list of participating hotels and make note of the phone number for the property they’d like to book. Then, between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. EST on December 3, they need only call the hotel directly and request a reservation under the Orange Wednesday rate.

Stays made under the Orange Wednesday rate must be completed by March 3, 2015. Participating hotels will take a maximum of five reservations each and travelers are limited to one reservation of one room. Blackout dates apply. For full terms and conditions, visit www.hojo.com/orangewednesday.
