Jamba® Kicks Off American Heart Association Fundraising Campaign
EMERYVILLE, Calif. - Feb. 2, 2015 // PRNewswire // - Jamba Juice Company (NASDAQ; JMBA), Jamba Juice, a leading healthy, active lifestyle brand proudly announced today its commitment to raise funds and generate awareness for the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association (AHA/ASA) for the third consecutive year. Building off a successful history supporting the AHA's mission to build healthier lives free of cardiovascular disease and stroke across the state of California, Jamba and the AHA will work together to further these efforts nationwide in 2015.
Five of Jamba Juice's Energy Bowls are certified with the AHA as a heart-healthy meal choice: the Island Acai Bowl, Berry Bowl, Mango Peach Bowl, Acai Berry Bowl, and Tropical Acai Bowl. From February 12-22, Jamba will donate $1 to the AHA for every Energy Bowl sold, up to a maximum of $10,000. These donations will help fund research, education, advocacy, and community outreach programs.
From February 1-22, Jamba stores nationwide will raise funds for the AHA through a customer donation campaign. Customers who donate $1 to the AHA will receive a coupon sheet with exclusive Jamba offers and a "Whirl'd Heart" sticker to display the customer's name on Jamba's "Wall of Hearts". From February 12-22, Jamba will donate $1 to the AHA for every Energy Bowl sold, up to a maximum of $10,000. These donations will help fund research, education, advocacy, and community outreach programs. In 2014, Jamba exceeded fundraising goals, raising over $200,000. Jamba looks to surpass that effort in 2015.

Making Heart-Healthy Choices Simple: Jamba Joins Heart-Check Mark Program
To further its vision of inspiring and simplifying healthy living, Jamba is proud to become an Inaugural Member of the AHA's Heart-Check Mark Meal Certification Program. When you spot the American Heart Association's Heart-Check Mark, you'll instantly know the food has been certified to meet AHA nutrition requirements. It's a good first step in creating an overall sensible eating plan. During the month of February, thousands of Jamba Juice employees nationwide will have the opportunity to learn Hands-Only CPR. Jamba will also activate additional fundraisers in the San Francisco Bay Area to support the AHA's Heart of Gold Ball, including a silent and virtual auction.
