Brightway Insurance Grows Customer Service and Business Analytics Teams
Adds Depth to Areas Key to Franchisee Growth
JACKSONVILLE, FLA. (PRWEB) February 17, 2015 - Shelonda Prince and David Skinner have joined the Brightway Insurance team in Jacksonville as Customer Service Manager and Business Analytics Project Manager, respectively, the company announced.
Brightway is a national property/casualty insurance retailer selling through franchised locations. Key differentiators in the Brightway system are the service provided after the sale by its Service Center, and reports provided by its Business Analytics team that helps each franchisee better understand key metrics and develop plans to grow their agencies as quickly as possible.
Prince brings with her over 15 years of Operations leadership, most recently at NGA Human Resources, where she was responsible for 10 clients. In that role, she introduced process improvements that resulted in $700,000 in cost savings.
Prince earned her bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Washington and holds a Green Belt Certification in Six Sigma.
At Brightway, she is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the more than 120-person Service Center that provides all service after the sale that is key to the company's retention of customers.
Skinner brings with him over 15 years of project management experience, most recently with the Garden City Group and Kurtzman Carson Consultants. In both roles, he developed processes and procedures and oversaw execution of complex claims processing projects in which success was measured by speed to market, accuracy of payments and customer satisfaction.
Skinner earned his bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of North Florida.
At Brightway, Skinner will manage complex projects that deliver key performance metrics to franchisees in ways that help them better understand their business and their opportunities to grow.
"We are thrilled to be adding experienced professionals like Shelonda and David to our Home Office team," said Talman Howard, president of Brightway. "Their experience, mixed with our existing team's insights into the business, will be a powerful combination as we work every day to provide the highest level of service to our franchisees and our customers."
Brightway began franchising operations in 2008, is privately owned and operates 115 franchise locations in eight states. Brightway agents have access to more than twice as many insurance companies as other independent agents and they focus strictly on selling, while service and other support functions are handled centrally. As a result, Brightway agents consistently sell more new personal lines business than do traditional independent agents.
In 2014, the company was named a Top 500 Franchise by Entrepreneur magazine for the second year in a row, the 9th Best Franchise with Less Than $150,000 in Entry Costs by Forbes, and the company was also named to Florida's Fast 100 by Florida Business Journals for the second year in a row.
