Mosquito Joe Inks a Record 16 Deals for 30 New Territories in Q1

Mosquito Prevention Franchise Attracts New Entrepreneurs, Doubles Signed Deals in 2015

April 21, 2015 // Franchising.com // Virginia Beach, Va. – Mosquito Joe, a leading mosquito control treatment company serving residential and commercial customers nationwide, wrapped up quarter one with impressive results. The brand celebrated 11 newly-opened units and signed 16 additional agreements to expand in 30 territories – a 100 percent increase from 2014.

“Mosquito Joe has continued to outperform previous growth numbers, which demonstrates that our franchisees and infrastructure can drive record results,” said Mosquito Joe CEO (aka Head Joe) Kevin Wilson. “In the past three months, we’ve been able to grow into new markets, and we’re well positioned to reach our growth goals for this year.”

With the brand’s ongoing initiatives, Mosquito Joe aims to surpass last year’s success by opening 66 new territories in 2015 to reach a total of 105 territories open by year’s end. In Q1 alone, the brand inked a deal to make its debut in Pennsylvania, and has also brought heavy hitters in the franchise industry onboard. For instance, the brand recently signed Chris Phillips, a former American Leak Detection franchisee, and Trey Powell of Liberty Tax, who joins the growing number of Liberty Tax franchisees attracted to the Mosquito Joe concept.

Mosquito Joe continues to build a strong reputation in the industry and was recently listed in the Top Multi-Unit Franchises of 2015 by Franchise Business Review. The report surveyed more than 6,000 multi-unit operators who represent more than 300 leading brands across the United States.

“Being recognized by a publication that gathers information on the best of the industry is a phenomenal honor, and we aim to continue delivering the best services and operations for both our franchisees and our customers,” Wilson said. “Moving forward, we aim to add to our ever-growing franchise base and continue expanding on a national scale.”

Mosquito Joe continues to build a strong reputation amongst its clientele and currently boasts open territories in over 20 states, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Texas and Virginia, to name a few. This year the brand will continue to expand into new regions across the country, including San Antonio, Chicago, Indianapolis, St. Louis and Kansas City, as well as further develop existing regions such as Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, Tampa, Minneapolis and Atlanta.

With a franchise fee of $20,000, Mosquito Joe has gone to market with one of the lowest franchisee fees in the industry and continues to entice business-savvy entrepreneurs looking to enter a growing, high-gross margin industry. The demand for mosquito control solutions is also expected to rise as more people discover the benefits of a mosquito-free yard and lifestyle, paving the way for national expansion of the brand.

With mosquito populations continuing to wreak havoc in the summertime, coupled with an increase in insect-borne illnesses, Mosquito Joe’s growth proves that it continues to provide a vital service to communities and a premier business option for future franchisees.
