Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt And Kevin Durant Partner To Honor Moms With Free Froyo On Mother's Day

Durant and Mom, Wanda Pratt, Tip Off Celebration By Reaching Out to Fans Via Social Media

OKLAHOMA CITY - April 28, 2015 // PRNewswire // - Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt and Kevin Durant are honoring moms with a cup of free frozen yogurt (up to eight ounces) on Mother's Day, May 10th. Families can bring their mothers in to any of Orange Leaf's more than 300 participating stores on May 10th for the offer. No coupon is necessary.

"Working with Orange Leaf on this initiative has been a great experience for me, especially because it was something special I got to share with my mom," said Kevin Durant, MVP of the National Basketball Association and forward for the Oklahoma City Thunder. "My mom's done so much for me in my life that I am glad I get to thank her again publicly on Mother's Day through my partnership Orange Leaf'."

Orange Leaf customers can choose from their local store's customer-driven selection of 16 flavors (taken from the menu of 70 plus), including last summer's sellout favorite, Dairy Free Pink Lemonade, as well as no-sugar-added, gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan alternatives. Pink Lemonade is a limited-time-only flavor featured in more than 300 participating Orange Leaf locations now through May 31. All of Orange Leaf's flavors are blended in proprietary machines that create a richer and creamier product than other froyo brands.

"Moms make lives better and are some of Orange Leaf's biggest fans," said Geoff Goodman, President of Orange Leaf. "We want to play a part in honoring them for all that they do."

Moms and their families are invited to invent their own culinary creations by mixing, swirling, dividing or building the froyo with any combination of fruit, nuts, candy and other healthy or decadent treats from the do-it-yourself toppings bar. At Orange Leaf, each person is able to make a treat that satisfy their craving while accommodating any dietary needs and taste preferences.

Orange Leaf customers can check their local store's web page (orangeleafyogurt.com/myorangeleaf), or download Orange Leaf's iPhone or Android app, to check for the flavors available at stores before they visit.

The Mother's Day offer is valid May 10, 2015 only and cannot be combined with any other offer. One free cup of froyo (up to 8 ounces) per mother. Good for in-store sales only. No cash value. Customer is responsible for any taxes. Toppings may vary by store and may be limited.
