Tropical Smoothie Café Introduces Limited-Time Wraps and Smoothies To The Menu

Popular Café Chain Launches New Seasonal Menu For The Summertime

July 01, 2015 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA – Tropical Smoothie Café, the leading fast casual café concept known for its better-for-you food and smoothies with a tropical twist, has introduced new limited-time only items to the menu. The new Pacific Rim Wraps and Superfood Smoothies are the perfect complements to the summer season, offering guests a delicious way to escape the mundane and into the Pacific with a tropical wrap or bowl, and cool down with a blended beverage.

Sriracha is making an appearance in both of the new limited-time Pacific Rim Wraps to bring the heat to Tropical Smoothie Café locations nationwide. Offering a fusion of fresh and bold flavors, the Cha Cha Sriracha Chicken wrap combines all-natural grilled chicken, roasted pineapple, cilantro, cabbage, carrots, scallions, romaine, spinach and caramelized pineapple Sriracha sauce in a toasted flour tortilla. The Basil Ginger Chicken wrap features all-natural grilled chicken with Sriracha aioli, ginger citrus sauce, basil cucumber, cabbage, carrots, romaine, and spinach wrapped in a toasted flour tortilla. For a lighter option, guests can order either of the new wraps as a bowl instead.

It’s not a surprise that given Tropical Smoothie Café’s most requested smoothie- the Island Green the Superfood lineup is already popular with the crowds. The expansion of the Superfood Smoothie line-up offers fans the opportunity to add even more of a better-for-you boost to their busy schedules. In addition to the fan favorite core item, the Acai Berry Boost, Tropical Smoothie Café is rolling out two new smoothie creations. Each beverage features key superfoods, such as the Pear’ific Green Tea smoothie, which combines a variety of fruits and veggies with matcha green tea, the Orange Ginger Glow, which adds fresh ginger to mango, green apple, pineapple, carrot and orange juice, and the Acai Berry Boost, which incorporates acai and pomegranate into a rejuvenating smoothie. Customers can also realize the benefits of green tea and ginger by adding them to any smoothie on the menu.

“Our ongoing goal is to provide our guests with great tasting options that not only surprise and delight but also meet their ever changing health and wellness needs,” said Lisa Dimson, Chief Marketing Officer of Tropical Smoothie Café. “Our new offerings go above and beyond by incorporating fresh ingredients and superfoods, while keeping the palate entertained with an expert combination of spicy and sweet. Tropical Smoothie Café fans have proven themselves to be adventurous foodies, and we are sure they will love the newest flavor adventure we are taking them on this summer.”
