July 27, 2015 // // Minneapolis, Minn. – As children head back to school, families are often crunched for time, wishing they had more minutes to tackle everything on their daunting to-do lists. That’s why Great Clips, the world’s largest hair salon brand, has launched a back-to-school #MoreMinutes campaign. From July through September, Great Clips is asking people what they would do with more time. And, by random acts of kindness, Great Clips will give people gifts to spend #MoreMinutes doing what they love.

#MoreMinutes during the back-to-school rush

We’re excited to surprise and delight our customers with small gifts that will hopefully make a big difference in their busy back-to-school lives,” says Great Clips CEO Rhoda Olsen. “We are the back-to-school haircut destination where our customers expect a great haircut that saves both money and time. We created the #MoreMinutes campaign because so many of our customers love the extra minutes we save them with Great Clips Online Check-In. Finding fun ways to give people #MoreMinutes is our way of going above and beyond to save people even more time”.

#MoreMinutes surprises could include tickets to a sporting event with the family, a day of relaxation at the spa, or say, a check to cover a bill that would otherwise require somebody to work extra hours. Example story: Great Clips performs random act of kindness for baby alpaca owner.

How to enjoy #MoreMinutes fun

To join in the fun, customers post a selfie of their Great Clips haircut on Instagram, Facebook on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter and say what they would do with #MoreMinutes.The #MoreMinutes campaign runs July 1 through Sept. 11, 2015. Great Clips has launched a fully integrated advertising campaign that includes print, TV, social media, digital and public relations. Starting later this month, TV ads will also feature kids’ responses to what they would do if given extra time.

How Great Clips saves customers time
