Pizza chain to offer giveaway and meal deals to shoppers.

COLUMBUS, OH (PRWEB) JULY 30, 2015 - Sbarro, known for selling their original NY pizza by the slice in many of the nation’s top shopping centers, is taking kids back to school with a chance to win a $500 shopping spree.

From now until August 31, the brand is inviting customers to enter to win a $500 Visa gift card that can be used to purchase new clothes, shoes and backpacks at their favorite retailers.

To coincide with the busy end-of-summer shopping season, the company is hosting a contest on their Facebook page. One winner will be chosen at random and awarded a gift card that can help purchase everything children and teens need for the new school year. Sbarro’s many mall locations allow families to complete their shopping and grab a great meal at the same time. Shopping works up an appetite and parents can pick up a limited time deal that will feed the whole family. In addition to the contest, participating Sbarro eateries are offering an XL NY style pizza with up to five toppings plus 6 breadsticks for only $17. The offer is available until September 7, 2015.

According to the National Retail Federation, the end-of-summer shopping season is the second largest seasonal shopping period for consumer spending. Parents of school age children are expected to spend more money on school clothing and supplies in 2015 than in previous years.
