CEC Entertainment, Inc. Wins Environmental Sustainability Award

For Ongoing Commitment to Protecting the Environment and Improving Energy Efficiency

EnTouch Controls Recognizes CEC Entertainment, Inc. – the Largest Family Entertainment Chain in the United States – for Environmentally Conscious Practices at Chuck E. Cheese’s Restaurants

IRVING, Texas - September 15, 2015 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - CEC Entertainment, Inc. announced today it has been awarded the annual Environmental Sustainability Award for its continued and longstanding efforts to improve the environmental sustainability and energy efficiency of its Chuck E. Cheese’s restaurants.

The annual award, presented by EnTouch Controls, is given to businesses that have made a significant, positive impact on the environment and have raised overall awareness of improved operational practices. Environmental sustainability continues to be the buzz in the restaurant community, according to the National Restaurant Association’s What’s Hot Culinary Forecast, which ranked environmental sustainability as the third hottest menu trend this year. Restaurants are continually evaluating and increasing participation in new opportunities and efforts to save resources as well as addressing rising utility costs throughout the country.

“We are proud to receive this recognition for our sustainability practices and are always striving to make positive changes in this increasingly important aspect of business innovation,” said CEC Entertainment, Inc. CEO Tom Leverton.

Leverton was presented with the Environmental Sustainability Award at a ceremony at CEC Entertainment, Inc.’s corporate offices in Irving, Texas, on Monday, September 14, 2015.
