STEM Education Franchise Zaniac to Debut in Dallas

Texas’ First Zaniac Campus Will Open in Early 2016, Company Seeks Franchise Partners in Houston and Austin

November 19, 2015 // Franchising.com // SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - Zaniac, a national STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) franchise where learning feels like play with programs such as Zaniac Robotics: LEGO®, Game-Based Learning: Minecraft™, 3D Printing and Computer Programming, will open its first Texas campus in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex in early 2016.

Local entrepreneur and franchise owner Anne Sinnott will open a Zaniac campus at 445 W. Southlake Blvd. in Southlake, Texas in early 2016 with pre-registration opportunities in December. With two Master’s degrees in neuroscience and business administration, Sinnott is combining her love of the two fields by debuting Zaniac in her local community.

“I have three kids of my own, so I am passionate about getting our young generation excited about STEM early on,” said Sinnott. “Zaniac is the perfect complement to our great education system here in Southlake. It offers a fun and engaging environment to learn and explore STEM outside of a classroom, and gives children the opportunity to discover what excites them for their future.”

Zaniac plans to open additional campuses throughout Texas and is seeking qualified franchise partners in Houston and Austin who have an enthusiasm for STEM education. The after-school STEM enrichment franchise currently has corporate campuses open in Salt Lake City and Park City, Utah, in addition to franchises in Miami, New York City, Connecticut and Massachusetts. The fast-growing franchise has a campus set to open in Santa Monica before the end of the year and plans to reach 50 campuses by 2017.

“Parents across the country are demanding opportunities to provide their children greater exposure to STEM education at a younger age and Zaniac is the perfect solution,” said Sidharth Oberoi, Zaniac’s President and co-founder. “Zaniac campuses are a fun and rewarding way to provide cutting-edge educational enrichment opportunities for children. As we continue to enter new states and markets, we will continue to produce innovative STEM programs for students to encourage exploration of these fields.”

Zaniac campuses are bright and colorful, featuring glass-walled classrooms with white boards and large multimedia screens. The company provides a host of STEM learning programs that get kids excited about math and science while preparing them for 21st Century jobs, including Zaniac Robotics: LEGO®, Game-Based Learning: Minecraft™, 3D Printing, App Creation and Computer Programming.
