STAMFORD, Conn. - March 10, 2016 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - With sunny stadiums and the familiar crack of the bat just weeks away, baseball’s biggest fans are gathering to set their fantasy baseball teams for Opening Day. Seeking to make fantasy baseball drafts effortless, Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) is offering fans an elevated experience that will lift them out of basements, and into upgraded suites and unique meeting spaces with everything they need to host an amped up fantasy drafting party. Available at select Sheraton properties in North America, the “Ultimate MLB Fantasy Draft” package is the first of several activations that Sheraton will host this year to celebrate its partnership with MLB.

From March 10 to April 4, fans who book the “Ultimate MLB Fantasy Draft” package can host a dynamic fantasy draft experience with friends and family at the hotel. As the Official Hotel of MLB, Sheraton will look to handle all the planning and details, making this season’s draft effortless for fans. The package includes:

  • Their own private, interactive drafting room
  • Big screen TVs and power outlets
  • Free Wi-Fi
  • Baseball-themed décor
  • Whiteboards
  • Access to Yahoo Fantasy Baseball and
  • Exclusive MLB-themed gift

Drafters expecting to work up an appetite can order from a custom Sheraton Paired menu, featuring ballpark-inspired bites with an unexpected twist, paired with carefully selected craft beer. Menu items include Garlic Parmesan Tater Tots, Smoked Bacon Bites, and Pastrami Stack Pretzel Sandwiches.

Fans can reserve their fantasy draft party space starting March 8 by calling their local participating Sheraton hotel. “Ultimate MLB Fantasy Draft” packages start at $59 per person (prices vary by property).
