The episode is part of Prank It FWD™, the wildly popular positive prank video series now in its fifth season. The episode came together after SMOSH received a letter from Northridge, CA resident Andrea Michaels, who explained that her grandsons’ father had recently passed away. She mentioned that Cameron (11) and Ethan (8) are huge fans of both SMOSH and PizzaRev, and was hoping to brighten their day. SMOSH’s Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox were so touched by her letter that they decided to bring a little bit of light into the boys’ lives by surprising them at their favorite pizza spot, PizzaRev.
Grandma Andrea often takes Cameron and Ethan to PizzaRev in Northridge, CA. The boys love how at PizzaRev you can Craft Your Own™ personal pizzas. Cameron likes cheese and mushroom, while Ethan prefers double pepperoni. In the Prank It FWD™ episode, however, the boys’ favorite toppings are replaced with wacky ingredients and the normal staff at PizzaRev is replaced with their favorite YouTube stars, Anthony and Ian, and the full SMOSH cast!
