Edmonton Entrepreneur's Location Is the First One Outside the U.S. for Moving and Junk Removal Franchise

EDMONTON, AB - (Marketwired - July 06, 2016) - College H.U.N.K.S. The company, which provides local moving, junk removal, donation pickups and more, has been growing quickly in the United States, and this is the first international location for the brand based in Tampa, Florida.

Leon Kassian owns the local business, located at 7738 18th St. NW in Edmonton. The moving and junk removal franchise serves the entire Edmonton metro area, and many other cities and towns in Alberta.

Kassian is a dental implant specialist who has owned several clinics in the Edmonton area. After 20 years in that business, he says he was ready for a new challenge, and he found out about the College H.U.N.K.S. franchise when family members opened a franchise in Houston, Texas, last year.

"At first, I just congratulated them and didn't think much about it, but I eventually recalled a time when I needed some things removed, and I called some people out to my house to get some stuff, and their truck looked like it was going to break down in my driveway," Kassian says. "The guy was this unkempt, small little guy and I ended up having to help him load the truck. When I thought about that experience, I realized there is nobody around here that offers the type of service College H.U.N.K.S. provides."
