Renters Warehouse Welcomes Las Vegas Franchise into Growing Corporate Family

Renters Warehouse Las Vegas franchise is now a member of the company's corporate family, giving the husband and wife general managers access to more resources and support from one of the largest, most awarded residential property management companies in the U.S.

July 11.

Husband and wife team of Mike Ankoviak and Patti Horita, co-general managers of Renters Warehouse Las Vegas, are excited for what the switch to the corporate model means for their already successful franchise.

“We decided to join the corporate family of offices to take advantage of the large rental market and growth potential in the Las Vegas area,” says Mike. “As a corporate location, we'll have access to more resources and be able to serve a much larger customer base by centralizing functions, allowing us to grow the company faster. We're excited to have the Renters Warehouse name become as widely known here as it is in Minneapolis, Phoenix and the other top markets.”

Mike and Patti moved from Minnesota to Las Vegas late in 2014, getting married the very day they moved. Their Las Vegas franchise opened in March 2015 and placed its first tenant in June 2015.

Las Vegas has an active rental market and the local Renters Warehouse office now has 60 homes under management.

“We’re anticipating that number to double or triple by year’s end,” says Patti. “The market here has loads of potential.”

A recent Associated Press story points out that nearly half of Las Vegas now rents, compared with less than 40 per cent a decade ago. An analysis by online housing marketplace BuildZoom says the average first-time buyer in the U.S. makes $84,559, much more than the average household income of $75,037, making renting a great option for many Americans.

Renters Warehouse also recently opened its Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg/Sarasota, Florida corporate office. The corporate openings, on opposite ends of the country, are just two examples of the incredible growth being experienced by Renters Warehouse. In 2015, the company virtually doubled its national footprint, proudly operating 28 offices (now 33) in 17 states, an increase from 15 offices in 9 states at the end of 2014.
