Taco John’s Unwraps Innovative New Menu Item

July 28, 2016 // Franchising.com // Taco John’s is taking its reputation for bold and original flavors to a new level. For our next limited time offer, we are combining two traditional favorites into one. The result is the new Quesadilla Taco.

“Quesadilla Tacos are a great representation of the innovative ideas we’re working to develop,” says Jeff Linville, CEO for Taco John’s. “It will give guests the opportunity to try something really original. Our test markets were extremely receptive, and we think TJ® fans around the country are going to love it.”

“Quesadilla Tacos are unlike anything we’ve done before,” says Bob Karisny, Vice President for Menu Strategy and Innovation at Taco John’s. “They feature two corn flour tortillas covered with pepper jack cheese, which are grilled, folded and filled with chile lime chicken, tomatoes, lettuce and a new smoky chipotle sauce. They provide a unique flavor and texture that you’d be hard pressed to find anywhere else.”

Quesadilla Tacos will be served in all Taco John’s locations until September 25th. Any guest who downloads the new TJ® Rewards app will receive a coupon for a buy one, get one free deal on Quesadilla Tacos.
