Villa Italian Kitchen Celebrates A Year On The Job For One Of America’s Favorite Late Night Hosts With Free Slices For “Stephen’s”

Quick-Service Pizza Brand to Give Away FREE Slices to Stephen’s on Thursday, September 8 at Its Flagship Times Square Location in New York City

August 30, 2016 // Franchising.com // MORRISTOWN, NJ - It has been a full year since one of America’s favorite late night hosts took over the reins of the Ed Sullivan Theater. To celebrate the occasion, Villa Italian Kitchen, the quick-service pizza brand that started as a tiny pizzeria next door to the theater in 1964, today announced that it will honor the September 8 anniversary of the show by will giving away one FREE slice of pizza to anyone named “Stephen” (with a PH) after the iconic late night host.

To redeem this offer, people named “Stephen” (with a PH) must present valid identification at Villa Italian Kitchen’s Times Square location in New York City on Thursday, September 8 between 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM. Earlier this month, as a gift to the funny man himself, Villa Italian Kitchen created a delicious pizza in the funnyman’s likeness that was featured during the August 5 episode of the show. After gifting the pizza to the biggest Stephen in America, Villa Italian Kitchen decided to invite all “Stephen’s” to get in on the fun.

“Villa Italian Kitchen has a rich history with the Ed Sullivan Theater as the company began right next door to the famous theater in 1964,” said Mimi Wunderlich, Director of Communications and Digital Marketing Strategy for Villa Restaurant Group. “As such, we thought it would be fun to congratulate Stephen on a great first year and to celebrate the occasion with him – and all “Stephen’s” – with a slice of our delicious pizza on the house. We look forward to celebrating the first of what we hope will be many anniversaries in the years to come.”

Villa Italian Kitchen features a variety of mouthwatering menu items, from Neapolitan and pan pizzas, with homemade dough prepared fresh daily, 100% whole milk mozzarella and sauce made from fresh California tomatoes, to pasta imported from Italy, delicious salads, Stromboli, entrees and much more. Villa also offers catering and large to-go orders, featuring hot, delicious and high-quality meals that are perfect for any celebration, event or meeting, complete with a dedicated Catering Manager who ensures personalized service and a customized menu.
