Muscle Maker Grill Introduces New Heart-Healthy Tuna

Rapidly Growing Fast-Casual Brand Adds Two New Menu Items Featuring the Omega-3 Packed Superfood for a Limited Time Beginning Monday, September 26

September 27, 2016 // Franchising.com // Houston, TX – Muscle Maker Grill®, the rapidly expanding fast-casual restaurant brand, promoting a healthy lifestyle by offering nutritious alternatives to traditional dishes, today announced the addition of two new omega-3-rich tuna dishes available at all locations for a limited time.

An American staple, Muscle Maker Grill has elevated the traditional tuna offering with its new Tuna Boats (220 calories, 8g carbs, 24g protein): a blend of tuna and light mayo, diced tomatoes and red onions served on romaine lettuce boats. Prefer a wrap? No problem. Muscle Maker Grill has also added the Tuna Wrap featuring the same great recipe as the Tuna Boats served in a whole wheat wrap (510 calories, 56g carbs, 24g protein). Both options are served with a free side of heart-healthy soup, with varieties including Tomato Basil and Italian Wedding Soup (options vary by location). The Tuna Boats and the Tuna Wrap are available starting at $8.99 (prices may vary by location).

“We are excited to add these delicious new protein-packed tuna dishes to Muscle Maker Grill’s menu of health-focused items,” said Robert E. Morgan, President and Chief Executive Officer of Muscle Maker Grill. “While tuna has always been a popular superfood for its heart and brain health benefits, we wanted to offer modern twists on this beloved favorite. In keeping with our mission to deliver flavorful items without sacrificing taste, Muscle Maker Grill’s new tuna options – along with its other menu items – provide great tasting, nutritionally balanced food without the regret.”
