Home Care Assistance Named One of the Fastest Growing Private Companies in Silicon Valley

The Silicon Valley Business Journal has included the leading provider of in-home care on their annual list of the fastest growing private companies and will also be recognized at the publication’s Fast Private Awards later this month.

September 30, 2016 // Franchising.com // Palo Alto, CA - Home Care Assistance the leading provider of in-home care for seniors across the United States, Canada and Australia has made the select list of Fastest Growing Private companies in Silicon Valley. On Thursday, October 20th, the Silicon Valley Business Journal will celebrate Home Care Assistance and others at the annual Fast Private Awards. Home Care Assistance’s achievement will also be featured in a special issue of the Silicon Valley Business Journal later this month.

“Being named one of the fastest growing companies in Silicon Valley is a testament to the hard work and commitment of every Home Care Assistance team member,” said Home Care Assistance CEO Lily Sarafan. “I am so proud of what this company has accomplished in just a few short years, and look forward to continuing our mission of changing the way the world ages.”

Home Care Assistance has been dubbed the “Home Care company with a Silicon Valley Soul” and has developed a unique hybrid franchise model, where the company uses corporate owned offices as “incubators” to test out new technologies before rolling them out to franchises, including a new partnership with Lyft. Now, seniors who don’t use smartphones are able to hail a ride simply by calling a phone number, helping them lead happier, more independent and safer lives.

Another technology that was piloted in its incubators is their patented Cognitive Therapeutics Method (CTM). It’s an activities-based program designed to boost mental acuity and delay the onset and progression of cognitive decline like dementia. And the Home Care Assistance franchises that have adopted CTM are some of the company’s most successful offices in the country.

Home Care Assistance gives an unparalleled level of support to their franchise operators and offers their franchises larger territories, unlike competitors that can allow for multiple offices. This not only gives customers easier access to caregiving services, but is also designed so each franchise owner has the potential to become a $10 million business.
