Sears Hometown and Outlet Customers Can Shop Thanksgiving Deals Early with Donation to Make-A-Wish®

More than 1,100 Stores Participating in “Wish Wednesday” Promotion; Allows Customers who Donate $5 or More to Shop Thanksgiving Door Busters on Wednesday, Nov. 23

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. - November 18, 2016 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: SHOS) has teamed up again with Make-A-Wish® for its annual “Season of Wishes” holiday campaign, which kicks off with “Wish Wednesday.”

Customers who donate $5 to Make-A-Wish will earn a Wish Wednesday pass to access Thanksgiving Door Busters early, all day on November 23. All 1,100-plus Sears Hometown Store, Sears Outlet Store, Sears Home Appliance Showroom and Sears Appliance & Hardware locations nationwide are participating in the charitable promotion.

The funds raised allow Make-A-Wish to help more children with life-threatening medical conditions experience the powerful impact of a wish-come-true. Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores, Inc. began partnering with Make-A-Wish in 2014. Since then, the Company has raised more than $2.5 million, helping to grant more than 150 wishes.
