Great Harvest Bread Expands Menu for St. Patrick’s Day

Customers to see limited-time foods, treats, meals available.

DILLON, Mont. - March 08, 2017 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Great Harvest Bread will make its customers feel especially green – but in a good way – this St. Patrick’s Day as it rolls out its annual lineup for treats, sweets and other foods during the March holiday.

Beginning the week before St. Patrick’s Day, participating bakery-cafes from Great Harvest Bread, famous for its fresh, made from scratch breads and goodies, will roll out a lineup that features Irish Soda Bread, Gouda and Stout Bread and Shamrock Sugar Cookies, along with other St. Patrick’s Day-inspired themes and items reflective of a specific town.

Various locations may offer Blarney Scones and Irish Cream Scones as well.

“Of all the celebrations on the calendar, St Paddy’s is clearly one that we can participate in,” said Mike Ferretti, CEO of Great Harvest Bread Co. “In addition to Guinness, everyone thinks about having great Irish Soda Bread this time of year, plus we are going to offer other amazing products that are going to surprise people.”

In addition to the St. Patrick’s Day lineup, Great Harvest Bread will continue to offer its fresh breads, hot and cold sandwiches, grain bowls, salads, soups, cinnamon rolls, scones, bars and muffins to the public.

Great Harvest Bread bakeries make bread from scratch with whole grains shipped directly as wheat berry from select farms in Montana’s Golden Triangle. Every day flour is milled fresh from the wheat berry at each local Great Harvest bakery. Generally a five-hour process, the baking begins every day as early as 2:30 a.m. Every loaf is kneaded by hand, baked and served fresh to all guests who enter at all three dayparts – breakfast, lunch and dinner.
