The Cleaning Authority Celebrates Record Year of Charitable Giving Through Loyal Customer Support

Residential Cleaning Franchise Sets Goals At Annual Convention To Propel Growth; Aims To Reach 100,000 Customers This Summer

COLUMBIA, MD (PRWEB) April 26, 2017 - Beyond eliminating the everyday burden of residential cleaning, The Cleaning Authority has committed to bettering the communities that it has served since its founding more than 25 years ago. Built on a history of excellence and dedication to its clients and employees, The Cleaning Authority provides high-quality, environmentally friendly home cleaning services while also remaining focused on giving back to individuals in need through the brand’s power in numbers as a franchise system.

In 2016, The Cleaning Authority’s strong reputation and trusted services led to another lucrative year for the brand. At the root of this success is the growing number of customers served by the more than 215 franchise locations across the United States and Canada, 25 of which were added to the system last year. Now providing cleaning services for more than 97,000 customers, the brand is aggressively pushing toward the 100,000 customer milestone.

“The Cleaning Authority leads the residential cleaning industry by creating a positive impact on the quality of life of the homeowners we serve, the people we employ, and the franchisees we support,” said VP of Marketing Heather McLeod. “Our services are differentiated by the use of our Detail-Clean Rotation System to ensure that each of our customers receives quality service. As we get closer to achieving our goal of serving more than 100,000 customers, we are committed to maintaining the high quality that each loyal customer receives.”

Each year, The Cleaning Authority’s corporate team hosts an annual convention for its franchisee system to celebrate the brand’s recent accomplishments and work together to foster success for the year ahead. This year, during the convention held in St. Louis, Missouri, The Cleaning Authority proudly announced the huge success of The Cleaning Authority CARES initiative, which was launched at the 2016 Convention.

Designed to engage franchisees across the system, along with their employees and customers, the program encourages The Cleaning Authority locations to give back to their local communities by collecting and donating food for those in need. Through the program, a brown paper bag is left in the homes of The Cleaning Authority’s clients with information about the campaign and a request to be filled with non-perishable goods between cleaning visits. In 2016, the brand collected 238,175 pounds of food equating to 198,479 meals. In total, 216 different organizations received food donations in 39 states and providences in two countries. At this year’s convention, brand leaders announced the winners of an exciting addition to The Cleaning Authority CARES program: ten $1,000 scholarships awarded to franchisees’ employees as well as their children or spouses.

In addition to charitable giving, the convention also focused on fueling the productivity of the brand’s growing employee base, which now includes nearly 6,000 people. This involved discussion of key elements like enhancing marketing tactics surrounding hiring, increasing employee retention through a defined leadership trajectory and therefore strengthening unit-level economics. It’s no surprise that the success of The Cleaning Authority comes from a thriving team of leaders. Among the accolades announced at the convention, both Leanne Stapf and Heather McLeod were promoted to VP of Operations and Marketing, respectively, from director-level positions, proving the developing strength of the corporate team.

To honor the franchisees and employees that have helped propel the brand forward, several of The Cleaning Authority’s top performers were also recognized at the 2017 Convention.

Employees of the Year: Wade Maye of Parkville, Maryland; Laura Wolff of Downingtown, Pennsylvania; Olivia Flores of Denver South, Colorado; Brooke Wilson of Calgary, Alberta and Angie Jenkins of Nashville, Tennessee.

“We’re always looking to grow and build from the momentum of the annual convention,” Stapf said. “We celebrated some huge moments this year that make me very proud of the hard work that our franchisees and corporate team put in every day. It’s clear that we’re not slowing down in any facet of our growing success.”
