1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizza Ignites Franchising Initiative

New Locations, Fresh Franchise Markets and Innovative Menu Rollouts Signal Surge for Leading Fast-Casual Neapolitan Pizzeria

May 01, 2017 // Franchising.com // GALLOWAY, N.J. – 1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizza is lighting franchising on fire across the country.

The customizable fast-casual pizza brand announced today that it is rolling out its authentic, hand-tossed Neapolitan pizza throughout the United States with new locations planned for development in a collection of key markets.

Known for its classic Neapolitan pizzas fired to perfection at 1000 degrees in a custom, handmade, revolving Neapolitan brick oven and the option to limitlessly top each pie with more than 50 fresh ingredients for a flat rate price, 1000 Degrees has become a staple in the communities it serves. 1000 Degrees has plans in place to open an additional 20 restaurants by the end of 2017. The brand is expanding its presence into new markets throughout the country, and the growth represents an 85 percent increase in unit count.

“There’s an undeniable excitement around 1000 Degrees right now that we’re seeing at every level – from our loyal customers to eager entrepreneurs looking to invest in the concept,” said Brian Petruzzi, CEO and founder of 1000 Degrees. “In less than three years, we’ve grown from one store in New Jersey to more than 20 restaurants across the United States. The brand continues to evolve and grow, adding more talented franchise partners to our team and making innovative changes to our menu, while always serving the highest-quality, most authentic Neapolitan pizzas on the market.”

Following a strong first quarter of 2017 with five restaurant openings, Petruzzi leads 1000 Degrees into the second quarter with a collection of openings on the horizon. New pizzerias are in place to open in cities such as Omaha, Nebraska; Coral Springs, Florida; Strongsville, Ohio; and Knoxville, Tennessee by the end of Q2, with an additional 15 in development in markets across the United States.

In addition to announcing the updated franchising initiative, 1000 Degrees is also introducing a brand-new crust option for customers this spring: The Roman. Available as the foundation for all build your own and specialty pizzas and made with the same quality ingredients as the Neapolitan crust, The Roman crust is twice the thickness of 1000 Degrees’ traditional crust and is oval in shape. The new crust option is just one of many new menu options the brand plans to debut this year and beyond.

As 1000 Degrees expands, the brand is awarding franchise opportunities to qualified individuals driven to succeed who share the company’s vision and will follow the proven business model. Tailored to owners and operators that place value in strong ties to the community, the franchise opportunity provides structure and scalability.
