Franchise Veteran Steve Kwon Joins Caring Transitions Executive Team

New Vice President of Franchising to Lead Domestic and International Expansion

July 11, 2017 // Franchising.com // CINCINNATI - Caring Transitions, a Cincinnati-based senior relocation, estate sale, and liquidation company, recently announced Steve Kwon as its new Vice President of Franchising. Kwon’s new hiring is a part of Caring Transitions’ robust, strategic franchise development strategy, which includes plans to have an additional 50 locations open by the end of 2017 and a total of 600 locations open by 2020.

Kwon has over two decades of experience developing emerging brands, leading them through both national and international franchising. Kwon began his career in franchising with Money Mailer in 1996, where he served as Director of Franchise Licensing. From there, he took on roles at Sir Speedy, Inc. and Budget Blinds. While serving as the Vice President of Franchising for Budget Blinds, Kwon grew the company to 1,200 units and received multiple prestigious franchising awards. Most recently, Kwon served as the Vice President of Franchising at Mathnasium for the U.S. and Canada, where he grew the emerging franchise into one of the most successful afterschool supplemental education franchises known today.

“When I came across Caring Transitions, I was instantly drawn to the company’s passionate and caring culture along with their substantial growth potential,” said Kwon. “The rising Baby Boomer population in America has created a large, underserved market, opening the doors for Caring Transitions to expand their services nationwide.”

Kwon is joining the Caring Transitions team at a pivotal time, as the company has already signed 20 franchise agreements so far this year, and will have 250 locations open by the end of 2017. At the helm of this growth, Kwon will ensure all locations are opened successfully, and continue looking into new markets for expansion such as Houston and Los Angeles, as well as international markets like Canada and Australia.

“Steve’s new role is essential in making sure Caring Transitions is growing successfully and strategically, all while bringing on capable franchisees,” said Chris Seman, President of Caring Transitions.

To fulfill these growth goals, Caring Transitions is seeking potential franchisees with strong project management and relationship-building skills. To learn more about the Caring Transitions franchise opportunity, visit www.caringtransitionsfranchise.com.
