After a groundbreaking first half of 2017, Michigan’s own Cottage Inn Pizza announced today plans to accelerate its extensive growth initiative, eyeing a significant increase in its franchise presence through the end of the year.

Cottage Inn began 2017 with four franchise locations open or in development in Berkley, Pigeon and New Hudson in Michigan, and in Greensboro, North Carolina. This growth comes as part of the fourth year of nearly 10 percent sales growth for same store sales and double-digit sales growth for all stores.
Building on the excitement, the brand has also announced a fresh new franchising concept slated to make its first appearance in New Hudson, Michigan before the end of the year: Cottage Inn Taverna.

This expansion comes as the brand continues to grow internationally, with up to 200 locations slated to open in China over the next 15 years, joining an existing location in Qingdao and the more than 50 locations in Michigan, Ohio and North Carolina.
