Dessange Group - North America Announces Organizational Changes

Organizational and Leadership Changes Position Company for Continued Growth and Stability

BEVERLY, MASS. (PRWEB) January 16, 2018 - Dessange Group – North America, the world’s leading operator in the high-end comprehensive beauty care market, is announcing key organizational leadership changes and appointments designed to strategically propel the company’s unprecedented growth and development.

The retirement of Bob Loffredo, Chief Development Officer, is prompting the organizational shift. Loffredo is scheduled to depart Dessange Group - North America at the end of the first quarter of 2018 after 15 distinguished years with Fantastic Sams.

“Bob started at the company working for Cheveux, Inc., the Fantastic Sams New England Regional Owner, as the Region Director,” says John Costanza, President/CEO of Dessange Group – North America. “When the Cheveux region was purchased by Fantastic Sams Corporate, Bob moved over to Fantastic Sams Franchise Corp. and eventually to Dessange Group North America. Over time, not only was Bob a RD, but he also has held many different positions within the company, including Director of Real Estate and Development and Chief Revenue Officer. Bob has a wealth of knowledge about the company. It will be difficult to see him leave, but we wish him the best in his retirement years.”

Denise Gorlick will be promoted to VP of Operations, East and Catia Morgan will be promoted to VP of Operations, West.

“Both candidates were put through an in-depth interview process, and we believe they possess the necessary skills needed to support our growing number of field team members and franchisees,” says Costanza.

Both Denise and Catia will be trained under Bob Loffredo until his retirement; after which they will report directly to Costanza. They will also be the point persons to Dessange Group – North America’s Region Owners with Costanza’s personal direct involvement and support as well.

Additional significant leadership changes of note include:

  • Susan Peace has retired effective December 8, 2017. Susan joined the company on August 13, 2007 as the Manager of Products and Merchandising and was promoted over the course of her career to Senior Director of Products. She continues to serve as a consultant while she helps transition her tasks over to the new director.
  • Maria Boden, has been promoted to Director of Products and Merchandising for DGNA, effective January 8, 2018. Maria previously served as Brand Development Manager PHYTODESS Paris. She joined DGNA back in 2013 as the General Manager for DESSANGE, Paris and Camille Albane salons. After a brief departure, Maria returned in January of 2017 to work on the PHYTODESS brand. She will work closely with our recently retired Susan Peace to make the transition as smooth and seamless as possible.
  • Joanna Crandall, was recently hired as Senior Director, Social and Digital Media, effective February 5, 2018. As of March 2018, Joanna would have been with Raytron, one of our current regional owners, for 14 years and in the marketing field for 20 years.
