Home Franchise Concepts Taps an Industry Insider to Fill New Digital Marketing VP Role

Adele Nasr comes to the fast-growing parent of franchisors Budget Blinds, Tailored Living and Concrete Craft from 3 Day Blinds, where she was Director of Marketing

February 13, 2018 // Franchising.com // ORANGE, Calif. - Home Franchise Concepts (HFC), the top-selling family of direct-to-consumer brands in the home improvement space, has tapped a window covering industry veteran to lead its fast-growing digital marketing team.

Adele Dagher Nasr, most recently Director of Marketing at 3 Day Blinds for four and a half years, has joined the Orange, Calif.-based home improvement franchise leader in the newly created role of VP of Digital Marketing. Nasr will be responsible for setting and implementing a robust digital marketing strategy to continue to drive strong growth to the portfolio of HFC brands including Budget Blinds®, Tailored Living® and Concrete Craft®.

HFC announced that it met its record 2017 goals of 2.6 million Budget Blinds window-covering installations for the year (and 25 million installations since Budget Blinds was founded in 1992) at a record pace of 50,000 installations per week, and operation of at least one retail brand in 10,000 cities in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

The company also unveiled its “Heart & Home,” year-long initiative to give-back to its customers, franchisees, employees and local communities in 2018 with a series of philanthropic programs and partnerships at HFC Headquarters and in franchisee neighborhoods nationwide. Two partners in particular, Working Wardrobes and Homes for our Troops, help veterans and others in need realize their dreams of work, career advancement and home ownership.

In her role as HFC’s new VP of Digital Marketing, Nasr will develop an integrated digital marketing plan encompassing search engine marketing and optimization (SEM and SEO), email marketing, digital display advertising, social media/reputation management, website and user experience optimization and ongoing integration with offline marketing plans. She reports to Gayle Milling, HFC Chief Marketing Officer.

“HFC experienced record retail brand growth during its 25th anniversary year – so the time is right to add an industry veteran who can help us leverage that momentum to reach even higher levels of success,” said Shirin Behzadi, HFC CEO. “With her unique blend of digital and window covering industry experience, Adele is perfectly positioned to navigate the increasingly digital franchisee- and customer-acquisition pathways. We are honored to have her on the HFC marketing team.”

As Director of Marketing for 3 Day Blinds of Irvine, Calif., from 2013 to 2017, Nasr positioned the company to achieve double digit annual growth from digital channels for three consecutive years through an integrated digital program encompassing the latest lead generation and automated marketing tools, IT infrastructure support and best-in-class tracking and analytics.

Prior to 3 Day Blinds, she was VP of Marketing of Meditab, an Oakland, Calif., electronic health record (EHR) software producer, and eMarketing Group Director at WebMetro (acquired by Revana Growth Services and renamed Revana Digital) in San Dimas, Calif and named an Ad Age Top 25 Digital Marketing Agency. She also worked for five years at Integrated Media Solutions (IMS), a Beverly Hills, Calif., digital media-buying agency, and at The Search Agency, an Ad Age top 10 Digital Marketing Agency.

A resident of Anaheim Hills, Calif., Nasr received her bachelor’s degree from California State University, Northridge.

HFC brands support more than 1,400 franchise territories in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. To accommodate its record growth, HFC is moving in 2018 to a new, 38,094 square-foot HFC Home Office and Franchise Support Center in Irvine, Calif. The new facility will feature management offices, interactive product displays, and state-of-the-art training, education and support facilities for HFC brands’ franchise owners.

Home Franchise Concepts brands continue to climb the prestigious Entrepreneur Magazine’s “Franchise 500” ranking. In the most recent ranking for 2018, Budget Blinds and Tailored Living placed #23 and #131 overall, respectively, and #7 and #111 as top franchise choices among Veterans.
