Penn Station East Coast Subs Adds Online Ordering To Mobile App
March 26, 2018 // Franchising.com // MILFORD, OHIO - Penn Station East Coast Subs, the fast-casual restaurant known for its grilled, made-to-order sub sandwiches, hand-squeezed lemonade and fresh-cut fries, has added online ordering to its app, mobile website and desktop website.

With the new online ordering feature, customers can browse the menu, place their order and pay via the app. Then, they simply pick up their food at the restaurant without having to pay at the register.
"With almost 60 percent of our food consumed off premises, we felt now was the proper timing to give customers even more convenience and ease of ordering,” Dunaway said. “Our great food will still be made to order, but this allows busy consumers even more flexibility than before."
Penn Station’s mobile app, which launched in 2016, integrates with the brand’s loyalty program. The app includes location information and allows customers to refer a friend via social media. Penn Station added mobile pay and gift card capabilities to the app late in 2016, and the new online ordering solution went live systemwide this month.
“The addition of new features in stages was intentional,” Dunaway said. “We felt it more prudent to keep franchisees and customers excited and motivated with the changes and updates.”
