NOVUS Glass Experiences Network Growth under FIX Auto World

March 28, 2018 // Franchising.com // Since FIX Auto World, a global body shop network with over 680 locations in 9 countries, purchased NOVUS Glass in June of 2017, the network has experienced impressive growth, especially in the past few months as 5 new businesses join the network.

The synergy that the FIX Auto World provides NOVUS Glass in the U.S. and abroad is attracting attention, as entrepreneurs around the country, and world, are inquiring about how they can join their business network. As part of the FIX Auto World, NOVUS Glass business owners can now take advantage of the many programs and partnerships that FIX Auto World has established throughout the years.

NOVUS welcomed two new franchisees in the southern region of the U.S. Darren Friesen joined the NOVUS network in December and is excited to make his footprint in Paris, Texas. “I’m most excited to own my own business. It’s a new industry for me with a lot to learn, but I’ve got a great network to support me.” Darren notes his end-goal is to open a fixed location to provide more services like window tinting and detailing. In Florida, Raymond Lowe hit the road in March and is now providing the Okeechobee area with mobile glass repair and replacement. For Raymond, the entrepreneurial spirit runs in the family. “My father has owned a few businesses in his life,” explained Raymond, “and it was something I’ve always wanted to do as well – but my own.”

In the western region of the U.S., NOVUS announced the addition of two new franchisees. Eric Huckstep, out of Pocatello, Idaho, joins NOVUS Glass after extensive experience in the auto glass industry. When asked what led him to purchase a NOVUS Glass, it was quite simple: “I managed an auto glass location for quite some time. I know the industry, the area, and it got to a point where it was just common sense to open my own shop.” Not far away in Casper, Wyoming, C.J. Bentley will be joining the NOVUS Glass network after he, too, realized it was time to own his own business. When asked what led him to NOVUS, he replied, “A lot of research. Looked into it, thought about it, looked into other businesses, but, eventually, I was always coming back to NOVUS Glass. It just made sense.”

New franchisees Matt and Britney Branson took a slightly different approach and purchased an existing, well-established NOVUS Glass business in Vail, CO. Taking the reins from 35-year NOVUS veteran and Hall of Famer Steve Moore, the Bransons know they have big shoes to fill, but are excited about the challenge.

As new initiatives and partnerships launch in the coming year, NOVUS Glass expects continued growth of their network. “We’ve got a lot of exciting initiatives in store for the network in the next 12 months. Because of our new ownership, a lot of new doors are now open to us. It’s going to be a whole new ball game,” said Ted Andersen, VP of Operations.
