World’s Largest Popcorn Franchise Retailer Celebrates DVD and Blu-ray Release of The Greatest Showman with Special Offers and Sweepstakes

April 02, 2018 // Franchising.com // DENVER – Doc Popcorn, the world’s largest popcorn franchise retailer is embarking on its first ever partnership, teaming up with 20th Century FOX to promote the release of The Greatest Showman on Blu-ray and DVD by offering customers the chance to win a trip to San Francisco.

The Greatest Showman is a hit musical drama that tells the story of P.T. Barnum, the founder of Barnum & Bailey Circus. Oscar-nominated for Best Original Song, the movie won a Golden Globe in the same category. Fans can munch on their favorite popcorn as they sing along. Doc Popcorn is selling $10 Greatest Showman Pop Buckets filled with P.T.’s Cheese Pop, a mix of Cheesy Cheddar and Triple White Cheddar, named after the movie’s main character. Customers that purchase the buckets will receive $5 off The Greatest Showman on DVD or Blu-ray now through April 27.

Doc Popcorn is also offering customers the chance to win The Greatest Showman Sweepstakes, and fans can enter online or in stores. One Grand Prize winner will receive a VIP trip of “A Million Dreams” to San Francisco, which includes a roundtrip plane ticket, three nights in a luxury hotel, and a VIP night at San Francisco’s best vaudeville theater. First prize will receive Doc Popcorn for a year and a Blu-ray copy of The Greatest Showman. Other runner-ups will receive a 3.5-gallon tin of Doc Popcorn and a Blu-ray copy of the movie.
