Discovery Point Honors Franchise Owners at Award Summits

National Childcare Franchise Recognizes Entrepreneurs for Operations and Community Excellence

May 30, 2018 // Franchising.com // Discovery Point, a national childcare franchise, recently honored excellence in its system by recognizing franchise operators at its franchise summits, taking place in Atlanta, GA and Tampa, Fla. During the events, franchisees Michael Keeney, Gayle Hanh and Andrew Hanh, owners of Discovery Point Seven Oaks in Wesley Chapel Fla., were presented with the President’s Award, the highest honor bestowed to a Discovery Point owner.

In addition to the President’s Award, the company honored franchisee Carmen Mesa, owner of Discovery Point Trouble Creek in New Port Richey, Fla., and Discovery Point Terra Bella in Land O’Lakes, Fla., with the Diane Clark Community Impact Award. This award is given to the Discovery Point owner who consistently demonstrates compassion, humanitarianism and exemplifies the values of helping others while making a significant contribution to their local community.

The franchise also honored twelve centers with the Excellence & Merit Award, which recognizes centers that demonstrate excellence in operations, compliance and community service. The centers that were honored include Kennesaw Due West, Cedarcrest Road, Prominence, New Hope, Howell Ferry, Sunset Crossings, Silverthorn, Trouble Creek, Terra Bella, Lexington Oaks and Seven Oaks.

“Our franchisees continue to have an incredible impact on their local communities and we feel it is important to recognize that impact,” says Cliff Clark, founder and CEO of Discovery Point. “Our summits are great opportunities to honor the entrepreneurs that help us grow and be successful year after year. We are looking forward to building on our success and expanding our franchise in 2018 and beyond.”
