Army Veteran Heather Morgan Joins JDog Junk Removal & Hauling

Morgan brings over 20 years of military experience and logistics intelligence to new role as Operations Coordinator

BERWYN, Pa. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - August 01, 2018 - JDog® Junk Removal & Hauling has welcomed Heather Morgan as its Operations Coordinator. A Veteran who served over two decades in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, Morgan brings a powerful combination of leadership, supply management, budgeting, and resource planning skills to JDog, a national franchise organization that’s dedicated to empowering Veterans and military family members through business ownership opportunities.

In her new role, Morgan will provide operations support to the JDog leadership team and to the more than 180 active franchises across the country. She will take the lead on data analysis and research projects that are critical to the continued growth of JDog.

“Extremely driven and detail-oriented, Heather is the perfect fit for the JDog family, bringing a degree of professionalism that can only be honed through military service,” said Jerry Flanagan, founder and Chief Executive Officer of JDog Junk Removal & Hauling. “As we rapidly expand nationwide, Heather’s logistics coordination, operations management experience, and knowledge of real estate trends will prove invaluable. Having served in the Army National Guard for more than 20 years, she understands the drive our Veteran and military family franchise owners have and can provide the level of support needed to succeed.”

During her time in the Army National Guard, Morgan held management roles in logistics, HR, and operations. She procured, issued, and recovered over $36 million of vehicles, weapons, and tactical gear for training, led employee safety training, and tracked work order status for 13,000 pieces of equipment. Morgan also developed a unit retention and recruiting program that improved retention rates.

Most recently, Morgan was a real estate agent specializing in military relocation for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, Realtors.

"My desire to serve and give back to the community didn’t fade after I retired from the National Guard, and I always kept an eye open for opportunities to put the logistics, operations, and leadership skills I learned in the Army toward a greater cause,” said Morgan. “JDog is an ideal match. Not only am I supporting an organization that serves local communities across the U.S., but I get to help other Veterans establish a rewarding and successful career in the civilian world.”

JDog awards franchises exclusively to military Veterans and their family members. To date, JDog has more than 180 active territories and has created over 1,000 job opportunities nationwide.
