Gold’s Gym Returns to Loveland, Colorado
Multi-unit franchise owner plans major remodel and upgrades of former location.
August 08, 2018 // Franchising.com // DALLAS - Gold’s Gym is returning to Loveland, Colo., with the power of Bryce Berry, a multi-unit franchise owner backing the purchase and planning extensive remodeling and upgrades of a former location at 910 East Eisenhower. The deal closed August 1.
The Loveland location, which started as a Gold’s Gym, has operated under a different name for some time after the franchise agreement was not renewed by the previous owner. But today Berry has followed through an opportunity to return the location back to its roots, a Gold’s Gym.
The 41,000 square-foot facility will get a state-of-the-art update over the next several months and will feature new signage and colors, a basketball court, group training areas, a large cardio area, yoga, steam rooms, a spin room, and the brand’s signature weight area among the improvements. In addition, current Gold’s Gym members at an existing Longmont location and the new Loveland location will enjoy access to both gyms for the price of one membership.
Berry currently oversees Gold’s Gym locations in Wyoming and Washington along with three Colorado locations in Clifton, Montrose and Longmont. The proximity and strong commuter traffic between Longmont and Loveland made it a great decision to put a significant investment in the Loveland property and return the world’s most iconic fitness brand to the region.
Berry has been with Gold’s Gym for 12 years and has more than 500 Team Members across his locations, including many who live in Loveland. Berry said they were eager to see Gold’s Gym return to their hometown.
“We already have quite a lot of people excited to hear that we’re coming back to Loveland,” Berry said. “Our ability to purchase the location quickly and make enhancements will raise the bar and heighten the Gold’s Gym experience to a whole new level.”
