BIGGBY® COFFEE Opens Another Location In Portage, MI

BIGGBY® COFFEE Will Open in Portage on Tuesday, November 13th

November 13, 2018 // Franchising.com // East Lansing, MI - BIGGBY® COFFEE is absolutely thrilled to announce the opening of a new location in Portage, MI with a highly anticipated grand opening date of November 13th, 2018! The new Portage BIGGBY® is the fourth store for Multi-Unit Operators Carrie and James Cousins. The Cousins were inspired after having dinner out in the community when they drove past what they thought would be a perfect spot to open a BIGGBY®. “We are super excited to be part of an area that is mostly small businesses and bring BIGGBY® to the community to be part of their daily routine,” said Carrie. The new store will be located between Ames Dr and Forrest Dr, diagonally across from H&B Market (9008 Portage Rd., Portage, MI 49002). BIGGBY® COFFEE Portage will be operated with the help of District Manager Dani Anderson and Manager Brenden Ludlow, both of whom have worked with the Cousins at their other locations.

Carrie and James truly exemplify the BIGGBY® COFFEE core values of loving people and building community. “We have been involved mostly with our local schools,” explains Carrie. “We already have been in contact with Lake Center Elementary School which is right down the road from us.” However, their plans for community involvement do not end there! “We also sponsor an animal biweekly that needs adoption from the SPCA of Southwest Michigan,” says Carrie, “and will add this store to help animals get adopted.” Puppies and coffee? Sounds like perfection!
