Former ABC Financial Services CRO, Steve Ayers Joins The Workout Anytime Team

December 03, 2018 // Franchising.com // Steve Ayers, the former chief revenue officer at ABC Financial Services, announced he has joined Workout Anytime as a multi-unit franchisee in Central Florida. In addition, Ayers will support the franchise’s development opportunities and growth initiatives nationwide.

During his eight-year tenure at ABC Financial, Ayers helped the club management software provider grow from serving 2,500 individual clubs to more than 7,000 across 3,000 brands. Ayers also earned experience in acquisitions, sales team development and accounting during his tenure as chief financial officer for a regional Gold’s Gym franchise, prior to joining ABC Financial.

“In my career at ABC, I spent time working with a lot of fitness brands, and Workout Anytime always stood out,” said Ayers, in a press release. “The brand is in major growth mode, and its value proposition, scalability and commitment to supporting its franchisees are what drew me to the company. My career path has primed me to be successful as a franchisee and to help the brand grow its footprint in Central Florida and, hopefully, beyond.”

Ayers plans to open three Workout Anytime clubs in Central Florida, with the first opening by January 1, 2019.

“It’s a feather in our cap to have Steve join our team, not only as a franchise-partner, but as an ambassador of our growth throughout the U.S.,” said Mark de Gorter, COO of Workout Anytime, in a statement. “His leadership, reputation in the industry and passion for furthering development will be invaluable assets as we continue to expand across the country.”

Workout Anytime was founded by Steve Strickland and John Quattrocchi in Douglasville, Georgia, in 1999. Today the fitness brand boasts more than 150 clubs in 19 states.
