sweetFrog Frozen Yogurt Helps ‘Deck the Halls’ this Holiday Season

Nation’s Leading Frozen Yogurt Chain Helps Community Groups Get More ‘Jingle’ for the Holidays…and Beyond.

December 21, 2018 // Franchising.com // Phoenix, AZ - sweetFrog® Frozen Yogurt, the nation’s leading frozen yogurt chain, named America’s #1 Best Frozen Yogurt in 2017 and #2 Best Frozen Yogurt in 2018 by The Daily Meal, is hoping families across America will load up their sleighs and dash to their local sweetFrog to help worthy organizations “Deck the Halls” at benefit nights hosted by participating locations across the country.

“Deck the Halls” fundraisers hosted throughout December give local owners an opportunity to give back to the communities that support them all year long. Participating sweetFrog owners will continue to host “Deck the Halls” fundraisers for the rest of the month, partnering with worthy organizations in their communities to help them raise much-needed dollars. These locations will donate a portion of the sales during each “Deck the Halls” event to help groups in need meet fundraising goals before the end of the year.

“Each of our participating sweetFrog Frozen Yogurt shops already has strong ties to wonderful community groups,” said Morgan Harrison, senior national marketing manager for Kahala Brands. “At sweetFrog, we believe in being good neighbors. We are dedicated to serving the people who work and live around us in any way we can. Of course, that includes serving tasty frozen yogurt year-round!”

sweetFrog’s Benefit Nights can be scheduled throughout the year and are a great way to help clubs, organizations, and charitable organizations raise money. sweetFrog is committed to a strong push each December to inspire local residents to step up during the season of giving.

The specific make up of each December “Deck the Halls” benefit night can vary greatly from store location to store location. For example, Jayna Patel with the sweetFrog location in Sumter, South Carolina, partnered with Toys for Tots this holiday season. “We, as a store, decided to give 30 percent off a yogurt cup for each toy that was brought in.” Their “Deck the Halls” event ended with great success on December 14, to allow time for gift-wrapping and distribution.

In Colchester and Guilford, Connecticut, Caleb Casey scheduled “Deck the Halls” events throughout the month, benefitting such diverse organizations as an animal shelter, a soup kitchen, a girl scout troop and a local PTO. “Supporting our communities is a big reason we decided to open two sweetFrog locations,“ said Casey. “Bringing everyone together for a good cause, especially around the holidays, is what we love to do!”
