Pirtek USA Returns As Sponsor Of Chris Kyle Frog Foundation Marriage Retreats, Golf Tournament

For third straight year, Pirtek USA partners with Chris Kyle Frog Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping those who serve

February 19, 2019 // Franchising.com // Rockledge, Florida - Pirtek USA will partner with the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation in 2019 to sponsor events aimed at assisting members of the military, veterans, first responders and others who dedicate their lives to public service. It’s the third straight year Pirtek USA has worked with the organization named after Chris Kyle, the famed “American Sniper.”

The partnership will include Pirtek USA sponsorship of the foundation’s four Revitalization Retreats, as well as the Chris Kyle Legendary Classic Golf Tournament.

“It’s part of Pirtek’s culture and philosophy to support our local communities and important causes,” said Kim Gubera, CEO of Pirtek USA. “These are some outstanding people who put their lives on the line for the rest of us. They deserve our support and we’re more than happy to assist them in whatever way we can. It’s our way of saying, ‘thanks.’”

The retreats are getaways that take place in various locations and events around the country for married military, veteran, and first-responder couples. The couples are selected through a nomination process and can enjoy a welcome time-out from their stressful daily lives to reconnect and recharge their marriages. The foundation handles transportation, accommodations, meals, entertainment and even child care for the participating couples.

Pirtek USA will also sponsor the Chris Kyle Legendary Classic Golf Tournament, a fundraiser to benefit the foundation’s work. The date and location of this year’s tournament are yet to be determined. The 2018 tournament took place Nov. 6 at the Tierra Verde Golf Club in Arlington, TX.

Taya Kyle is the founder and executive director of the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation, created in 2014 to honor the memory of her husband, Chris Kyle, whose acclaimed memoir, “American Sniper,” documented his life serving as a Navy SEAL sniper.
