Un-bowl-lievable New Options for Rice, Salad or Gyro Bases Satisfy More Cravings for Quick "Mediterranean on the Move" Option

May 01, 2019 // Franchising.com // BOISE, Idaho - The Gyro Shack, Idaho’s own homegrown brand renowned for its fast, affordable and delicious Mediterranean offerings, announced today it has expanded its menu to include new rice bowls and salads, joining the signature gyros to encompass the new brand tagline: “Mediterranean on the Move.”

For the first time ever, the Gyro Shack’s menu will offer customers the choice of enjoying its delicious Mediterranean gyro combinations atop a bowl of yellow lemon rice, as a salad or wrapped within a pita as the traditional gyro. The Gyro Shack’s new options will further cater to customers’ fast-paced lifestyles and love for authentic, unique Mediterranean cuisine.

As part of the rebrand, The Gyro Shack has also debuted a fitting new tagline - “Mediterranean on the Move.” The new tagline will be visible on all logo usage and throughout all aspects of the various locations’ in-store marketing, further strengthening its brand identity for a more cohesive customer experience.

The rollout of the newly expanded menu and tagline signals a larger, strategic shift in the brand’s identity, as The Gyro Shack strives to seamlessly align its menu, messaging, service style and customer experience to exemplify that authentic Mediterranean menu options and convenience are not mutually exclusive.

Gyro offerings available on rice or salad and in the original gyro range from the traditional to the extraordinary, such as the BLT and the Spicy Bacon Avocado. Vegetarian lovers of Mediterranean fare will also find plenty to tempt their palates, including a Greek salad, and hummus and pita. The tzatziki and spicy green sauces are a delicious way to top off any order to perfection.
