US Army Officer Begins Second Career With Studio in Harker Heights

CANONSBURG, Pa. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - September 17, 2019 - Deka Lash, the experts in eyelashes, announced today the opening of their newest studio in the Central Texas. The studio, located in Harker Heights, is owned and operated by Mr. Mamadou Ba.

Deka Lash provides semi-permanent eyelash extensions featuring a unique in-studio experience, online booking and extended hours including weekend appointments. Deka Lash’s highly-trained and licensed lash artists take their time to ensure quality applications, individually designed to fit the client’s eye shape and lifestyle.

Mr. Ba comes to the concept after an esteemed military career in the US Army. He proudly served his country for 20 years and is currently working for the Department of Defense. Always wanting to develop his entrepreneurial spirit he began looking at several different concepts and when introduced to Deka Lash he knew immediately this was the business for him. “I was impressed with the culture of innovation of Deka Lash and the close-knit corporate family that keeps pace with the changing times while allowing their franchisees to grow their own business,” says Mamadou. “Military service has taught me the value of hard work, team work and community involvement and I am excited to bring that experience to my studio, my lash artists and our clients.”
