Franchise Times Names The Camp to its Annual Top 200+ List

Leading Fitness Concept Ranked on Prestigious List of Largest United States Franchises

October 22, 2019 // Franchising.com // CHINO HILLS, Calif. - The Camp Transformation Center (The Camp) announced today that it has been ranked on Franchise Times’ Top 200+ list, the most comprehensive ranking of the 500 largest franchise systems in the United States. The distinguished list is based on The Camp’s global system sales and number of locations. The Camp joins the most reputable brands in the nation on the ranking.

The acknowledgement of being named to this ranking verifies the exceptional growth the company has experienced in the past year. In 2018, the brand generated $48 million in sales and opened 12 locations. Currently, The Camp has reached 113 locations throughout the United States.

“It’s an honor to be recognized among the most exceptional franchise brands across the country,” said Alejandra Font, co-founder of the Southern California-based The Camp. “We know our franchisees have put in hard work and dedication over the past year, and this achievement confirms our brand’s momentum. We are excited to see The Camp’s growth in the year ahead.”

Franchise Times uses a combination of companies’ voluntary reports and the most recent franchise disclosure documents to rank the 500 largest franchise systems in the United States. To qualify for the ranking, companies must be a legal United States franchise, with its headquarters based in the United States or at least 10 percent of their total units located in the country. Franchisees must also own at least 15 percent of the company’s total units.

The Camp blends a positive group training setting with dynamic interval workouts, nutrition and supplement plans and highly qualified trainers. Franchisees drive membership through seven annual challenges. Successful Challengers most often endear themselves to The Camp and become long-term members. Also notable is the brand’s key audience of people who have little-to-no workout experience, further differentiating The Camp among fitness concepts today.

Individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit interested in owning a The Camp franchise should have the ability to invest $167,000 – $326,500, which includes working capital and a typical franchise fee of $40,000. Ideal franchise candidates showcase an unwavering desire to help people with compassion and empathy. While not necessary, an aptitude for sales is preferred along with leadership skills and a collaborative disposition. The Camp supports its franchisees with proven marketing, sales and operations programs, including a robust opening strategy to bring people into the initial signature six-week Challenge. Cultivated to attract individuals or teams with an ambition to succeed, strong values and solid community and business connections, the franchise investment opportunity also offers significant efficiencies of scale for multi-unit investors.
