Rush Bowls Heads to The Sunshine State

Colorado chain bringing its healthy meals-in-a-bowl to West Palm Beach

November 26, 2019 // Franchising.com // BOULDER, Colo. - Rush Bowls – a fast-casual chain serving all-natural fruit and veggie bowls topped with organic granola and honey – is opening in West Palm Beach. The 900-square-foot store opened on November 19 and will be centrally located at 513 Clematis Street.

The new store marks the first of many that Rush Bowls plans to open in South Florida over the next several years. Though exact addresses have yet to be announced for the other locations, Rush Bowls is eyeing Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Coral Springs and Pompano Beach, among other areas.

“Rush Bowls was created with the intention to provide healthy meal options for college students. Our popularity quickly grew beyond the campus into surrounding communities, where residents were also seeking innovative, nutritious alternatives,” said founder and CEO Andrew Pudalov. “Our wholesome, all-natural offerings taste so delicious, you may forget it’s also good for you. We are excited about our explosive growth and look forward to expanding Rush Bowls as a national player in the health food industry.”

Founded in 2004, Rush Bowls serves meals-on-the-go in the form of bowls made from blended fruits and vegetables, then topped with organic granola and honey, and other nutritious ingredients. It has 40 bowls on its menu, as well as smoothies made with fruits and vegetables, including acai, kale and avocado, to name a few.

Vegetarian, vegan, wheat-free, gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free and nut-free options are also available.

“Rush Bowls is a quick-serve meal replacement option for those who are pursuing a healthier lifestyle,” said Pudalov. “Our focus is on providing nutritious, meal alternatives to every community we serve. We only use the finest fruits, vegetables, and all-natural ingredients to craft the perfect, healthy alternative meal option.”

The local expansion plans come at a time when Rush Bowls continues to rapidly expand its national footprint. Today, there are 25 locations open and operating in 15 states, with more than 120 additional Rush Bowls’ in various stages of development across 20 states.
