Premium-Quality, Affordable Fitness Brand Drives Multi-Unit Franchise Growth

Blink Fitness has identified eight top-tier U.S. markets as prime opportunities for multi-unit franchise development. After conducting extensive market research, Blink Fitness has selected strategic growth markets including Dallas-Fort Worth; Denver; Phoenix; St. Louis; Kansas City; Las Vegas; Charlotte, North Carolina; and the state of Connecticut. The markets have been chosen based on several attributes, including real estate availability, favorable business climate, attractive competitive landscape and a suitable consumer audience. As it targets each market, Blink Fitness is seeking experienced multi-unit franchise groups looking to expand their portfolios into the booming affordable fitness segment.

Blink’s franchise growth announcement follows a breakthrough year for the brand. In 2019, Blink grew its franchise footprint by 50% and surged past the 100-unit benchmark as it celebrated more than 20 gym openings.

This year stands to be equally monumental: Blink Fitness predicts at least 30 franchise and company gym openings in 2020. The brand launched into the new decade with openings in January across major markets like Houston; Los Angeles; Chicago; and Jacksonville, Florida. Additional franchise and company openings are planned throughout the year in Illinois, Michigan, California, Texas, Florida and New York.
