PrideStaff Named “Best Buy” in Exclusive Franchise Times® List

March 13, 2020 // Franchising.com // PrideStaff, a national, franchised staffing organization with more than 80 offices across North America, is pleased to announce that they were named a Best Franchise to Buy by Franchise Times as part of the annual Zor Awards program.

Designed to recognize brands in 10 of the industry’s most exciting and accessible categories, the Zor Awards aid individuals exploring franchising by helping them evaluate opportunities with an astute business mindset. This year, the Franchise Times included Help Wanted (i.e., employment and staffing franchises) as an award category, due to the staffing industry’s continued growth and overall appeal. The editorial staff named PrideStaff the most laudable brand in the Help Wanted category for 2020, based on their profitability, management team, service offerings, unit openings and closings, recent litigation, financial backing of the brand, and online votes from readers. In recognition of this achievement, PrideStaff Strategic-Partners Amy Linn and Matt Ertle were featured in the March 2020 edition of Franchise Times, where they shared their perspective on the amazing culture, lifestyle and profit potential that comes with owning a PrideStaff franchise.

The opportunity to meet several PrideStaff franchisees back when Linn was a PrideStaff employee, and not yet an owner, proved to her that the positive experience was shared at all locations. “The offices and owners I spoke to around the country all echoed the same thing I was seeing,” she said. “It was very representative of the culture and leadership of the company and I didn’t feel I needed to do much more research because all indicators were pointing in the same direction.” Now celebrating 20 years as a franchisee, Linn has grown her PrideStaff empire to offices in Dallas North, Frisco, and Las Colinas. She has exceeded her best expectations, making more money than she hoped for, and is planning to expand her existing offices and, possibly, opening additional locations.

Having worked for a window and door manufacturer for years, PrideStaff Bend franchisee Matt Ertle had a successful career but wanted to do his own thing. “I wanted a business that was heavily focused on the people in the community where I was raising my family,” he said. Like Linn, Ertle also spoke with a number of existing franchisees to make sure he was going into the endeavor with realistic financial expectations while the business scaled up. Buoyed by PrideStaff’s investments in technology and their level of support, Ertle is expecting to add employees over the next few years, and he’s also considering purchasing an additional territory.

“We’re thrilled to be named the ‘best buy’ in the employment and staffing franchise category by one of the most credible and well-respected news sources in franchising,” said PrideStaff Vice President of Franchise Development, Paula Pizarro. “This is the second consecutive year PrideStaff has been recognized by Franchise Times, offering tangible proof of how successful, rewarding and profitable our franchise model is.

“Committed to delivering exceptional client experiences, PrideStaff continually improves the processes, technology and support we provide to our Strategic-Partners,” continued Pizarro. “By combining national support with local ownership, PrideStaff offers franchisees unlimited potential for success within a growing, $154 billion industry, while making a meaningful impact upon employers and talent in their community.”

The success of PrideStaff’s approach is evident, as they consistently rank among the highest 1% of staffing firms in the industry. According to ClearlyRated, a business intelligence firm specializing in the staffing industry, PrideStaff earned a client Net Promoter® Score (NPS) as high as or higher than other well-known brands such as Southwest Airlines and Netflix. NPS is computed by subtracting a firm’s detractors from its promoters.
