D1 Training Accelerates Launch of D1toU App to Unite Members Outside the Facility

Leading Fitness Franchise Showcases Commitment to Members’ Wellness - Anytime, Anywhere

May 11, 2020 // Franchising.com // NASHVILLE - D1 Training - a leading fitness concept utilizing the five core tenets of athletic-based training to help people of all ages achieve their sport and fitness goals - has recently rolled out its own virtual coaching program, D1toU. It brings the experience of its expert coaching and 5-star training and accountability to its members during this unprecedented time and beyond. In fact, the fitness brand has been working on this program since last fall, leading to the unique and timely ability to launch this new remote platform for its members.

Launching last month, D1toU provides a fitness accountability partner that inspires and equips participants to live at their highest level, despite their location. Members receive coaching accountability three times a week via a Zoom Call, text or a phone call to go over the workouts in-depth while evaluating goals. D1toU also includes nutrition accountability that ensures members are maintaining a healthy lifestyle to accompany the fitness aspect of training. This is executed through nutrition templates and guides provided by the coaches.

In partnership with TrainHeroic, the third leg of the initiative includes an app that currently services over 24,360 members. It provides all of the brand’s programming, including a chat feature to keep the D1 Training community connected through daily challenges and support via virtual fist and fist-bumps.

“D1 Training is so much more than turf, weights and loud music. We are a community of people with character and values with goals to improve inside and out,” said Will Bartholomew, Founder and CEO of D1 Training. “We always saw D1toU as a platform to keep our athletes engaged no matter where they are or what they’re doing. We’re thrilled we are able to keep that promise to our D1 family, especially now as we attack this ‘off-season’ head-on.”

Through this program, members are able to have remote access to D1 Training’s full-body workouts while having the ability to log all training, track progress and stay connected with an expert coach. The TrainHeroic App is available for download on Google Play or the App Store.

All D1 Training locations offer five age-based programs including Rookie (ages 7-11), Developmental (ages 12-14), Prep (ages 15-18), Boot Camp (adults), and Strength Training (adults). Each fitness program is based on the five athletic-based tenets: dynamic warm-up, performance guide, strength program, core and conditioning, and cool down. Outside of group workouts, D1 Training offers one-on-one training with world-class coaches.
