LunchboxWax Adding More California Locations to the Map
Entrepreneurial Couple Signs Multi-Unit Agreement; Bringing Three Salons Waxing Salon Concept to Greater Sacramento Region.

The brand, which has 10 existing locations in the Golden State, recently signed a multi-unit agreement with husband and wife entrepreneurs Jim and Katie Martin. With prior ownership experience and beauty industry knowledge, the Martins will use their advanced skillset to open three LunchboxWax salons in the greater Sacramento region. Potential areas of development include Roseville, Rocklin, Fair Oaks, Citrus Heights, Folsom, El Dorado Hills and Granite Bay.
“After obtaining my esthetician license, I was inspired to break into the beauty industry,” said Katie, who ran a nonprofit business alongside Jim for 30 years. “We know firsthand what starting a business from the ground up entails - and with LunchboxWax, the systems and processes have already proven to be successful. Beyond that, the brand’s vibe and culture is empowering, unique and memorable.”
The forthcoming LunchboxWax salons will offer a full range of hair removal services from top to toes, bottoms to brows and cheeks to chest. Using its proprietary three-step speed-waxing process, LunchboxWax has a “soft wax” technique that is more effective and less painful than traditional waxing. As the local owners, the Martins will be leading waxologist recruitment, prioritizing talented estheticians that are passionate about providing an unparalleled guest experience. They will also oversee daily business operations to ensure exceptional service.
