Loyalty Brands Welcomes First Area Representative in New Jersey, Overseeing More Than 200 Available Territories

Umbrella Franchise Company Looks to Eastern Expansion with Help of Serial Tax Entrepreneur Ken Leese

October 22, 2020 // Franchising.com // VIRGINIA BEACH - Loyalty Brands, the parent company to a cohesive group of seven business services franchises, has welcomed entrepreneur Ken Leese as the newest Area Representative for two of its franchise concepts, ATAX and Loyalty Business Services. Leese will spearhead the brands’ aggressive growth goals in New Jersey - specifically South Jersey and Trenton - alongside available territories in Philadelphia County, PA, New Castle County, DE, Hillsborough County and Tampa, FL as the brand refines its growth goals heading into 2021.

Leese brings with him multiple decade’s worth of experience in the tax industry, having spent many years as a top-preforming franchisee for Jackson Hewitt, and as the owner of The Tax Authority. In the early 2000s, Leese owned more than 80 Jackson Hewitt units across six states, and proceeded to sell over half - throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware - in attempts to give him more time to raise his young family. Through his position with Loyalty Brands, Leese will operate similarly, helping to find qualified franchise operators in available territories throughout the Eastern United States, alongside plans of his own to open his own ATAX and Loyalty Business Service franchises before the 2021 tax season. Loyalty Brands oversees a number of like-minded franchisors such as ATAX, Loyalty Business Services, First Choice Business Brokers, and more.

“I’m thrilled to join the Loyalty Brands team and continue to grow this young and multi-faceted company in my home state of New Jersey and beyond,” said Leese. “Loyalty Brands is a franchising maven, giving franchisees who sign on to operate one franchise concept the ability to expand their business portfolio at an accelerated pace. This is done by providing access to an additional six franchise concepts that offer complementary business services, training and support.”

After launching its newest franchise opportunity, Loyalty Business Services - a small business tax, payroll and advisory company - back in June, Loyalty Brands has shifted gears to aggressive expansion goals, hoping to grow the franchise’s presence substantially ahead of tax season. Many people have spent this time re-evaluating personal finances and career paths, and Loyalty Brands provides a unique franchise opportunity for interested business owners as the symbiotic concepts allow for likeminded client referrals and the ability to grow business acumen by purchasing similar franchise concepts. Moreover, as small business owners continue to rebound in the face of the pandemic, franchise concepts focused on advisory, brokerage, and tax preparation services continue to be an asset to their communities.

“Ken Leese will make for a great spokesperson and representation of our brand,” said Melissa Salyer, the Executive Vice President of Franchise Development for Loyalty Brands. “Ken comes from a background of entrepreneurship, understands the ins and outs of franchising and is passionate about finding skilled professionals who understand the benefit that small businesses have on our economy. We’re looking forward to watching our growth goals come to fruition with Ken on our side.”

Loyalty Brands is looking to attract entrepreneurs who are passionate in helping small business owners succeed. The overarching goal of Loyalty Brands is to expand small business service offerings nationwide at an accelerated and supported pace.
